Key Responsibilities:

RF Design Support

  • Support RF design development for DAS, small cell, macro, and in-building wireless systems.
  • Review RF designs, predictions, and layouts to confirm alignment with project scope, site conditions, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate RF design deliverables, revisions, and approvals with engineering teams and clients.
  • Assist in identifying RF risks, design gaps, and constructability issues early in the project lifecycle.
  • Support value engineering efforts to balance RF performance, cost, and construction efficiency.

Construction & Field Support

  • Provide technical support to construction teams during installation, responding to RFIs and field questions.
  • Participate in site walks, pre-construction meetings, and installation reviews.
  • Support verification of antenna locations, equipment layouts, cable routing, and grounding/bonding per design.

  • Support and develop project cost estimates (proposals), Scope of Work documents and installation diagrams

Project Management & Coordination

  • Manage RF-related scope, schedules, and deliverables in alignment with overall project plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including RF engineering, construction, integration, and QA/QC.
  • Track technical issues, action items, and risks, escalating as needed to maintain schedule and quality.
  • Support change management, including tracking cost and schedule impacts related to RF or field changes.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Communicate RF design intent and construction impacts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support client reviews, inspections, and acceptance processes related to RF systems.

Documentation & Closeout

  • Ensure RF design packages, revisions, and as-built documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Support collection and review of test results, commissioning data, and closeout deliverables.
  • Assist in transitioning completed projects to operations or maintenance teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–7 years of experience supporting RF design, construction, or technical project management in wireless or telecom infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of RF fundamentals and wireless system architecture.
  • Familiarity with RF design tools such as iBwave, Atoll, Planet, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with construction teams in active jobsite environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DAS, public safety, small cell, or carrier modernization projects.
  • Understanding of construction processes, RFIs, submittals, and change management.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working with major wireless carriers, neutral-host providers, or public-sector clients.

Key Competencies:

  • Technical coordination across design and construction
  • RF design interpretation and field application
